This is kolhapuri style chicken masala you can tray this dish at home so following ingredients need for make chicken
Ingredients
- ,500 gram fresh chicken
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 solt
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- A pice of javitri
- A cinnamon stick
- Small pice of star anise
- 3 cloves
- 3 black pepper corns
- 4/5 garlic cloves
- 2 tsp great ed dray coconut
- 1 tsp white sesame seeds
- Onion
- 4-5 badgi mirchi
- 3 tsp oil
- 2 onion greavy
- 1 tomato greavy
- 1 tsp besan
- Watter
- Salt to teste
- Finally chopped coriander leves
Method
Wash fresh to home chicken really 3-4 times with watter then Let the chicken be in the strainer for about 10-15 minutes transfer chicken in to the bowl and add turmeric powder , ginger, garlic past, salt mix everything well together and roast for about few 30 minutes to marinate heat up pan on medium heat add coriander seeds cumin seeds, mace ,cinnamon, star anies, cloves, black pepper corns and roast it a little add garlic cloves, dry coconut white sesame seeds fray onion dry, bandgi mirchi and roast everything well together until spices release aroma you can skip dry onion of you don't have you can skip dry red chilli and use red cilly instead transfer everything in to a blender jar and blend into fine powder masala for chicken is already heat up oil in a pan add onion and fray until it gets light golden color and add tomato add fray for another 4-5 minutes until tomato cooks soft then add 3-4 tsp fresh blended masala and fry for about 2 minutes move the masala aside and add besan in the oil fry the besan about a minute and mix it well the masala add the marinated chicken and coat it well with the masala add water and mix well add water just enough for gravy add chicken also release moisture cover and cook for about 20-50 minutes, after about 7-8 minutes open the lead and mix the chicken so that it won't stick to the bottom add solt and mix well while adding salt be careful as we have added solt while marinating chicken to too open the lid and mix once at regular intervals after cooking chicken for about 20-25 minutes chicken masala is all ready garnish with coriander leves chicken masala goes well with ,bhakari ,roti chaval
