Ingredients
- Cottage cheese 250 gms
- Besan 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per test
- Ghee 2 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Bay leaf
- Green cardamom 3
- Red chilly 2
- Cinomon 1
- Cloves 4
- Ginger garlic past 1 ysp
- Onion size medium 2
- Red chilly powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Tomayo 3 medium size
- Curd 3 tsp
- Green chilly 3
- Dry fenugreek leves 1 tsp
- Fresh coriander
- Green Masala powder 1 tsp
Method
To make paneer masala, take a 250 gram of paneer and cut it into equal squares, add a teaspoon of turmeric, a teaspoon of red chili and 1/2 tsp salt to the paneer, mix it and keep it on site for 25 minutes. The besan is used to thicken the gravy of the paneer. To remove the rawness of the besan roast the besan for 2 to 3 minutes. To make gravy, take 2 spoons of oil and ghee, when the oil is hot add spices (3 cloves, 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, 2 red dry chilies, 1 green cardamom, 3 bay leaves, cinnamon pieces, fry these spices for 5 to 10 seconds, then add three onions. Mix it in a mixer and add this paste in a pan. Fry this onion paste until it turns brown in color. Then add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, one teaspoon of chili powder, one teaspoon of coriander powder, 1 teaspoon of garam masala powder, mix all these spices and add roasted gram flour to it. Saute these spices for a minute and add 2-3 spoons of water. Adding water does not burn the spices. Add water to this masala and saute for two minutes on low flame. Then add three tomatoes to a paste in a mixer. Add salt to taste and mix it all, reduce the heat and cover it for 5 to 6 minutes and cook on low heat, then add 4 tablespoons of curd, then add 1 teaspoon of Kasturi Methi and mix it all together for 2 minutes on low heat, then add hot water to it. Add as much water as you need and use water in moderation because the paneer gravy is not very thin. Boil the paneer gravy for 6 minutes, then add the fried paneer in it. Cover and keep on site
